Just an interesting dyno sheet comparison of three different gears.

I thought this was interesting so I decided to post it. We were having some trouble with our 1g Talon Drag Car so we put it on the dyno to sort it out.
We were testing gears, it's an auto, one gear at a time and collecting data.
Below is a dyno sheet showing a 1st-red, 2nd-green and 3rd-blue gear pull.
It's just interesting to see how load, speed and dyno calculations are done and the effect it plays on the power and the curve the car produces.
Exact same tune, same boost.

very interesting. I try to convey this all the time. looking at the dynograph of one gear pull is so limited. even my 2.3 hta green setup gets to 20psi in 600rpm intervals. 5600/5000/4400/3800/3200 1st through 5th. what this means is your car may look mean with a 4th gear pull. but be a complete dog in 1st. this is why I hate big turbo setups for the street. they are boring to drive away from a stop.
