Broken Fuel Pump Bolt...

So while bolting up my housing one of the bolts seemed to snap with ease...Any ideas on how to fix this bolt

Maybe some JB cold weld? I'm not sure how critical this is. If it doesn't matter too much, cold weld should work.

 I did the EXACT same thing

It didn't matter, its been weeks and no issues. If you're really concerned, you could just shoot a self tapping sheet metal screw through the bolt hole.

Don't use a self tapping screw, it could cause a leak since the metal plate you're screwing into doesn't actually make a contact seal against the fuel tank. You would be better off running a bolt from inside the fuel tank and running a nut on the outside. Afterwards maybe seal around the bolt with some silicone or something else that will hold up.

I broke two off recently, got to get em fixed ASAP. I'm thinking of doing a through bolt with jbweld on the bolt head flange inside the tank let that cure then, reinstall.

Any other easy fixes???

One broken will not leak, two side side could, two spaced apart likely will not. Quit over tightening them
