How many CDs can be ripped on the MMCS 30G HD?

How many CDs can be ripped on the MMCS 30G HD?

Does anyone know?

i believe it depends on how much free memory u have???

I've ripped probably 10+ CDs so far with at least 18-21 songs on each CD. Plus, if it is full for some reason--you could always delete the songs that you don't listen to that often

assuming all 30Gb is available and considering CD's are 80min/700Mb, you should be able to store approximately 3500 minutes (58.5 hours) of music.

Hopefully my calculation is correct (30*1024Mb/Gb*80min/700Mb = 3500 minutes)

only about 5GB is available for the media server portion of the MMCS. Assume about 100 average length CDs.

Can you copy mp3 cds to the mmcs?

that about what i read. 6-7 GIGs for music . the rest is for nav and the car info settings. if you were picky about what you wanted off each CD , i suspect you could double the 100cd to 200 cds. with just your top pics off of each CD. still loading and have over 26 cd on mine now.

or you can just hook up your ipod to the aux plug and you're good to go
