basically $650 shipped. It has all the features i want (dvd, nav, ipod connectivity, expandable bluetooth). just wondering if anyone had any experience with it or any alternatives in this price range?

Never used it, but I do have one comment about the GPS: I really, really dislike generic GPSes. I've NEVER had good luck with them. I personally would go with the Kenwood/Garmin combo, if only because I've been a fan of Garmin for years, and know they'll support their product.
I have no idea how much the Kenwoods cost, it may well be a stupid amount more, but if you plan to utilize the GPS, it might be worth considering. I have the built in Nav in my Evo, and end up using my external Garmin at times, just since the interface is friendly.
