I got the stock non-RF stereo in my X. I've read that you can buy the Mitsu 3 wired cable and plug it into the wiring harness and it works. that's just a regular aux input with a + and - 12v (or whatever it is) for charging the ipod. it's clever, and it should work. it's not direct control, but it's probably as close as you will ever get on the x's oem radio/nav system.

and make sure it takes newer gen ipods if you have them - since gen 6 ipods check the cable for an authenticity chip, doubt this would have it, or it may have some sort of mod chip.
