If you are going to use that kit make sure your deck has a bezel that clips on to the deck without the cage (not the case with pioneers).
Can you please post a picture of your setup. I ordered the same unit but will use the Scosche kit. Thanks.

I have already posted pics of my setup. The Pioneer installation was for another car and I didn't take pics. With the Scosche kit it should look similar to my pics but the Pioneer deck will sit deeper in the opening.

Ah ok I was hoping you have a picture of the Pioneer and the Scosche kit. Thanks anyway.

Would this work with the stock nav dash kit? Thinking of getting an aftermarket nav, and buying the OEM Navi dash so it looks stock.

No. The OEM NAV dash kit has a much wider than double din opening. Someone here did it but had to make a custom plate out of plastic. Do a search and you will probably find the pics.

heavyD I have a couple questions. I ordered a 2010 evo gsr with SSS but no navi. I plan to go with the same in dash setup as you. From what I understand the 2010 comes with bluetooth controls onthe steering wheel. Can I retain the use of those buttons on the steering wheel with the alpine unit? The PAC adapter will keep the other audio controls from what I read in another thread. Can the Alpine unit use the SSS speakers and amp or will I have to redo all of that?

If you have the Fosgate System you will need the Mito-02 harness;

I'm not sure about retaining the bluetooth. You will have to research that.

PAC adapter works with the bluetooth controls as well. just unhook the stock bluetooth module behind the glovebox.

Looks really sick. I like how it protrudes out a bit.
