I was going to rewire the factory seperates (RF system) to my headunit directly, bypassing the factory amp. My question, is there a seperate crossover unit for each set of speakers somewhere? Is it in line? I want to run a re-wire, but I need to keep the inline crossover, correct? Thanks!

Crossovers are part of the stock amp. There are no inline crossovers.

 

wouldn't there have to be a crossover to split the signal between the woofer and tweets? Right? I've been out of the game for a while...

 

There are a total of 6 speaker wire sets running from the amp to the speakers. one for each tweet, one for each of the fronts and rears. No inline crossovers, the amp did it all.

Crossovers don't split signals, they just keep certain frequencies from being passed.

They should be super cheap at a stereo store. You can probably even get em at walmart, and some auto parts stores.
