Stock NAV Mp3 to HDD
Stock NAV Mp3 to HDD
has anyone figured this out yet? i'm getting an oem nav from a private sale but i remeber reading that the HDD will not read mp3s off DVD/CD and rip to HDD. can the thing even read mp3s off DVD?
This is correct-- the MMCS will play MP3 CDs but will not rip them. It also won't read MP3s off DVDs. To get songs on the the HDD, you will need to burn a regular music CD for the tracks to be ripped.

crap, this really sucks. if i have a DJ set or a radio talk show rip that's over 4 hours long i'm screwed...i'd have to chop them up on the pc, convert files to CDA format, burn like 4 audio CDs, and then rip them. why does mitsu make you jump through hoopes like that? this is almost not worth it for the oem look
