Stock Radio - Sound to speakers

I have a small issue, I'm wondering if this is happened to anyone else. When I use my radio, my speakers work perfectly, if I play a CD there is no sound (or very crappy sound) that comes out of the right side speakers (f/r). I have the GSR stock radio.

Update - I took my car to the dealership and I guess this is an issue some mitsu's are having. When you have your radio on, the signal to the speakers goes via one 'circuit' and when you switch to CD, the signal goes via another 'circuit' and the switch that controls this goes bad. Or so this is what I was told. They are ordering the fix to this (warrently covers it).

There have been several posts about this...I had to same problem. They replaced the head unit, worked fine. Now, just one week ago and about 4 months after they originally replaced it, it has begun again! GRRRRRRRR. I am very tempted to get an aftermarket deck so I don't have to deal with this crap anymore!

I was thinking about going the aftermarket route too. So is it actually the head unit or is it something in the wiring/connections?

it's an internal problem with the headunit itself. you all should see if your speakers make clicking and buzzing when using your power mirrors i hate factory systems of any kind

Yeah the factory system is one of the first mods for me to work on. Aftermarket is always a good way to go
