To anyone with a prosport electric boost gauge (or anyone with a little knowledge with wiring), I can't figure out what to hook the wire up to to get it to change to the amber color when the headlights are turned on. I hooked it up to the headlight fuse under the hood, but when i did that it stayed amber all the time. Anyone know how to hook it up so it's white during the day and switches at night when the lights come on?

You should wire it to a illumination wire, something that gets power only when lights are on

Get a tester and try it out

It can be from the stereo illumination wire, you could tap a simple button that lights up with the lights, etc

Maybe the fuse always has power
