iPod? This is a bit dangerous?

Is there anyway I can shuffle my songs instead of having to scroll through every freaking song/artist/genre to find what I want. I have almost 1,500 songs that I don't want to go through...

I connect via USB not AUX.

There is a "Random" option that shuffles all the songs of the playlist you choose.

Well, I couldn't find the Random thing you were talking about. So I'm still trying to manually select music while manually shifting gears. LOL!

I know how to use an iPod. In the GSR w/o Navi you can't use your iPod while connecting via USB in glove box. It syncs into the cars own system.

This might help.

How? You just didn't understand my question. I worded it incorrectly too, so that made it worse.

For the record, I know how to use a freaking iPod.

Yeah, I went through the manual while setting up my Bluetooth and stuff but I skipped the iPod stuff because I thought it was pretty straight forward.

Apparently not. ROFL.

Is it the ipod touch? If so then you can just shake the ipod and it shuffles the play list its on. To have a shuffled list of all songs just go to songs and at the top it has shuffle.

Just get an iphone and use the bluetooth

For w/e reason the iphone doesnt sync through the usb cable, it only charges, BUT you can use the bluetooth function to play all your music, WIN!

Screw the USB. I clicked RDM on my head unit and it still plays in order. What a load of crap.

I bought an $8 Male R/W RCA to Female 3.5mm wire. I'm going to plug in my Monster AUX cables to that and my iPod and use my iPod to shuffle. I just hope the sound quality isn't greatly degraded.
