If I wanna take out my stock sub, can I just disconnect the wires and pull it out, and the rest of the stock speakers with the stock sub will keep working? I don't listen to music, I'd rather have the space in the trunk and less weight then having the sub in there... But I do need sound sometimes, traffic updates and whatnot, so I want the rest of the system to keep working...

 

Your music will keep working just fine. Just make sure you put wire nuts or tape on the end of those wires. Preferably wire nuts because tape can melt off in the heat.
