Hey guys, I just went ahead and purchased an aftermarket navigation system: Kenwood DNX9980HD to be exact. I also purchased the JDM dash kit for a perfect fit.

Now I was wondering, how complicated is it to install the new Navigation setup? Is it as easy as disconnecting a harness and reconnecting it to the new navi? I am pretty clueless when it comes to electrical/wiring aspects so any help would be appreciated!

Also, since I have the SSS (non navi) version of the Evo, will the fosgate amp work with this setup as well? I read the sticky at the top and it seems pretty complex

I was hoping for a quick plug and play but I might be wrong here.
