Did my radar/laser install this weekend.

Beltronics STiR Plus and Blinder HP-905 custom install. Took 2 whole days of wiring and letting epoxy dry etc, but I think it turned out well. Totally concealed by the Evo's cubby door. I didn't need the little pocket there anyway. Stuff flys out of it.

The stealth display on the STiR Plus can be put in black out mode and it looks like there's nothing there. The control module is on the left for easy button pushing to turn off in states where it's not legal to use it.
The middle selector switch is for the Blinder HP-905 laser "parking assist modules" on the front of the car.

If anyone is wondering, I had an old HP printer that didn't work that I used for scrap plastic to epoxy over the cubby to have a flat surface to mount the switches/display. Used some black textured paint and it turned out exactly like mitsubishi's textured plastic interior parts.

I was wondering why you would go through all that trouble, then I saw you're in VA. Sorry bud. Nice work!

Yeah Fairfax County is insane about speeding and love to set up radar and laser traps everywhere. And all electronic countermeasures are illegal. This should make my car invisible and be undetectable.

Aweome! Might have to do this as well. And yes, VA is notorious for there special laws/regulations.
