I've been looking into getting a security system with remote start for my MR but haven't come across to much in my searches. I'm hoping someone can help by letting me know what they've installed had installed that worked with the fast key system?

I'd also like to do the install myself but haven't found any how to threads on this either. If no one can point 1 out I may make 1 once I figure out what to order.

 

I got a Compustar 9000. it was installed by a shop near me, but they got it to work with my FAST system to include the keyless touch sensor for the doors. I didn't have them set up the Turbo Timer or the remote start so i don't know about that part. But they have it so that all the OEM buttons on the FOB control the Arm and Disarm and the keyless touch sensor disarm the system also. Mine is a 2008 MR by the way.

 

Also they had to install a separate module to work with the FAST system. and they told me i would have to give up one of my OEM FOB if i wanted remote start.

 

thanks for the info. I really want the remote start but don't want to give up the extra fob. How much did it all cost you if you don't mind me asking?

 

i believe it was like $650 out the door
