Hi all, i am having a problem with my head unit not working, let me explain what happened. So i bought a another ac unit control because mine was all scratched up, so while replacing it you had to detach the radio face unit, while i did this i notice there was a small flat wire that connects that to the four way signal, i payed no attention to it.

But as i read online it actually powers the head unit, i tried multiple times to fit it in any of the square holes under the radio and no luck does not turn on. So I go to my dealer and they say my car is not under warranty and that it is the amp that blew that is drawing all the power and killing my battery, and its best to get an aftermarket amp and deck. So now i am stuck and don't know what to do, any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
