MR400709 Relay

I'm ready to switch out my relay for the good OMRON MR122409 however the package from here contains a larger relay with the MR400709 moniker.

http://www.sspperformance.com/evo-x-...sr/relays.html

The site label it as a fuel injector relay (a larger one at that) but other information says its a fan control relay, check post 15 and amazon link below.

Amazon.com: GENUINE MITSUBISHI MR400709 GENUINE OEM FACTORY ORIGINAL FAN RELAY: Automotive Amazon.com: GENUINE MITSUBISHI MR400709 GENUINE OEM FACTORY ORIGINAL FAN RELAY: Automotive

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...t-up-help.html

So from my understanding, all I have to do is switch out the following:
fuel pump relay
starter relay
injector relay
headlight relay
daytime running light relay

with the MR122409?

I can ignore the big relay right? or should I just buy the $65 package and replace them all?

Is the merchant site labeling the MR400709 and packing it incorrectly? Inconsistent information worries me.

Thanks

Buy the SSP kit and replace all relays it contains.

$65 is nothing compared to the cost of running lean and popping a motor.

This is similar to the AYC pump relocation kits. $400 may seem like a lot for a "preventative item" but compared to $2000 + labor for a new pump......that $400 fix starts to look pretty cheap.

I was going to buy the kit, but it seems that the bigger relay is not the right size and wrongly label by the kit manufacture? That's the gist of my question. To recap I want to change the relay, but the size and parts number indicate that its a fan relay not a fuel pump relay. I just want to confirm this with someone before buying the items.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately I've already stumble on that page through my search, no mention of the bigger relay. Guess I may not need it after all.
