I just got this 2008 gsr and the radio turns on, but all I get is a few hisses from the passenger side speakers for a few seconds, then complete silence. When I first noticed the radio didn't work, I decided to check the fuses, the amp fuse was missing and I put one I , that's when I got the hisses. The fuse under the dash was there and fine. Should I pull the radio and check connections or is the amp done for?

The amp did appear to be bad, check the connector at the amp and it was burnt up. New amp in and it plays flawlessly. No idea what caused it.
