N-02 Navi with 8785A050 bluetooth module????

Hi, I have a 2011 evo x with N-02 navi along with the steering wheel bt control that came from the factory. My bluetooth never worked since I got the car from the previous owner. I opened the glove box and looked up that there is 8785A025 bluetooth module mounted and also the USB port inside of the glove box. I took the car to the stealership for troubleshooting and was told that there is a short in the module and I need a 8785A050 bt module to make it work.

However, based on the research I did, N-02 is not compatible with bt function (fuse function? are they the same thing?). I am wondering if the fix can be just a simple swap with a 8785A050 bt module? Or I have to get a N-04+ navi?

Thank you!

I got power from USB that is connected to bt module. So the module is not shorted?

I think your right in that you need the N-04 or N-05. Previous owner must have put the N-02 in there.
