Car: 2008 EVO X GSR

I'm about to install these newly retrofitted headlights and am wondering about power and ground. The headlights itself are still wired to the original HID system however for halos and the demon eyes (for bluetooth), ill need to hook them up to the morimoto xbt bluetooth system. My question is the power source and ground for the morimoto xbt install. Right now the positive and negative on the morimoto has the ring connector attached, am I able to attach it to my positive terminal in the engine bay and ground at one of the factory ground points? Or should i remove the ring connector and fit it into a fuse piggyback tap.
