Evo X 2014 Rockford Fosgate Amp Problem (3 plug vs 2??)
Hey all, I have a 2014 Evo X GSR with the Rockford Fosgate Amp. The amp I believe was starting to fail and making some popping sounds. Anyway, I ordered a replacement amp and went to install it and noticed my amp has a third white plug between the two larger black plugs on the side.
Every Google search/amp I've seen for the car only has the two larger black plugs on the amp, however the amp itself looks identical otherwise. Has anyone seen this or have any ideas? Apologizes if this is listed somewhere, I've been trying to find any information on it and so far haven't seen anything helpful.
**Note that it's just a different amp that is generally listed as for the Mitsubishi Outlander 8701A565 (and it's about twice as much, yay!)
King, also be aware that the OE Rockford amp has a built-in crossover that rolls off the midranges above a sure frequency. I'm no longer positive wherein that rolloff is however the mids will in no way reproduce any excessive frequencies reason they never get any.
