If and when the AP does come out for the EVOX we will look into it as a viable solution. I am not sure that your understanding of the stock map in the AP is actually true. Supposedly in these ECU's there is some kind of identifier which denotes the number of times that it has been flashed, which cannot be change in the rom image.

When the AP becomes available, ultimately, one of the things that we would like to do is make maps that can be sent out with our staged packages that will enable the customer to flash the car themselves. These tunes, just like the current evo tunes, will be slightly on the conservative side to meet the demanding and changing conditions that all cars will have to operate in.

As said, there really is no replacement for a custom, on the dyno, tune of your specific vehicle by a qualified tuner. Also, alot of evo guys are not very familiar with Delta Dash, which I have seen in action on a few Subaru’s. This is a very cool tool that allows you to read live sensor data, has alarms that can be set, and also allows the end user to make some changes to the mapping of the car.

I'll even put an ECUtek sticker on my Fozz if it helps.

Haha Markus, I'll have to see if they'll take the bait on that one. Hope your EVO is running well!

Yep, the car is a monstar with the new setup. Spoolup really did improve 300 RPM or more (gear dependent).
