Iveytune Ecutek X Reflashing
OH MY GOD! What have we here....
a humble "tuner!"
It's 'my' X that Sean has, it is his to modify in any way he so chooses...
Unless he wants to chrome things.
Tumbs up for my Donk IX!

Sean is a genuine person, who does fabulous work...if he were a brain surgeon, I'd let him cut me open anytime he thought it necc!

Everytime Sean's name comes up in these forums is always in a good light. Even at my job people have heard of him and had their previous generation Evos tuned by him. They all have nothing but good things to say. It's good know we have someone like that around. Who knows I may eventually start taking trips to NJ just to get proper tunes.
So you're adjusting boost using the stock boost solenoid? Also, are you able to do a more conservative tune for those of us who use the car for occasional track days?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes everything is done via the ecu. More conservative? This tune is in no way on the edge, but we can back the boost down and increase fueling for road course use very easily. The power will still be over 300 Wheel.
Because the motor is a new design I am going more towards the conservative side and will ease into more aggressive tuning as time goes on. No need to be a hero at this point.
Standard Price for the Ecutek tune on the dyno is $750, but if you see another vendor doing it for less let us know.

Is there any advantage to going to an aftermarket boost controller versus the stock solenoid? I really like the idea of maintaining the factory ECU's control over boost for any catastrophic safety reasons.
