This is nuts, these cars are just making stupid power for peanuts.
Chris, I noticed that the only difference between this car and your shop car is the MBC. Is there any way to control boost via the ECU and get similar results...or is the MBC the best way to achieve the ~20hp difference seen between these two cars?
Great results btw! Can't wait to start tuning my X

Thanks for posting this Chris! I left you a voicemail this morning, try not to laugh when you listen to me ramble on haha.
I cant stress enough how much better this car feels, I drove it around this morning before my first session and I couldn't stop laughing. It is so much better. Look at the graph, around 130 whp GAIN under the curve around 5,000-6,300rpm. The car hits so hard and just keeps pulling, I am very happy. Over 100wtq gain is so impressive from a tune, it really helps on track.
As a side note, at Gateway last weekend I was hitting 118 on the front straight, and my first session today I already hit 135! Its so much better on the track.
Thanks again Chris.

If you check out my other thread on our AMS EVO X, you can see the difference between theses two cars that have relatively similar modifications. The biggest difference right now is the torque. Once we get these motors to breathe better up top we will be seeing some different gains for sure.

Thanks Matt, its such a different car, Ill give you a ride at Miller if you want.

I seriously need to bring my car into AMS and let them tune it. I just got a X and its past the break-in period (the one in the owners manual.) But I am wondering since I had the car reflashed at the dealership, do I have to do it again at AMS..or can I go straight to the mods. My friend Tim has had alot of stuff done at AMS..I can't wait to join the club!!

has you shop car or the car you just tuned came with or had the reflash done. and do you really see a differance in how the numbers would come out after you tunned a car anyway would not they be they same with or without the reflash
