I spoke with MZM performance about a week ago and they told me they were not doing ECUtek for the X yet because he's only gotten about 4 inquiries. He informed me the investment was too large for him to just hope intrest builds for the ECUtek X software.

I'm in Houston and I too would have a long way to go to get a tune. I've contemplated going elsewhere, but that investment for me would be large also. To say gas is getting expensive is an understatement.

According to MZM's website their pricesare crazy. A $45 "strap down" fee for straping your car on the dyno... And this is on`top of their already stf dyno fee's.

that's what I hear they have unnecessary fees for things and high prices, but there one of the only companies around here so I guess they can afford to charge as much as they want.

I don't know about any ECUTek tuners in TX but Turbochargers.com in Houston just bought a new AWD Mustang Dyno and they have a picture of an X on a Dyno on their site so I'm guessing they might be an ECUTek dealer. I have no first hand experience with any of the Texas tuners that do Evo's. Normally I avoid recommending tuners unless I'm familiar with their methods.

Lets deal with facts only, not assumptions.

No they are using a standard Greddy E-manage piggy back style but are having issues & are not tunning X's at this time.

Ok

Anyhow, looks like AMS is coming to town this summer. They do ECUTek, if that's the solution you want, take advantage of the opportunity.

I just read the topic. If you can't find a dealer in Texas we can do an excellent mail in flash for you, just send us your ECU and we'll overnight it back. PM me with any questions, please.

Guys. I will be in Houston Texas June 30th - July 1. If anyone would care to have a Buschur Flash purchase installed on site then I will do so free of charge

Also, I will arrange custom tuning of all Evo x, Evo 8 and IX and all Subaru reflashes at a very favorable rate during those days.

Please contact me by Pm to review your tuning needs and arrange an appointment.

do you also adjust the Mivec. and boost control. I was reading on Buschur flashes but didnt see that info here is their website statement

The information in your stock ECU is replaced with a setup to run your aftermarket performance parts, and in the process removes your fuel cut, speed limiter, and raises the rev limiter if you would like.

thanks

Also for any of you even considering having something done I'd suggest avoiding TC.com like the plague. I don't care who you have tune it but unless you want it broken.................
