That last one looks like my flash. If I'm correct that's 308 WHP and 310 torque.

Nah I'm pretty confident that's my car's flash, it was definately 308 and 310. Because it's been one of the highest ones so far and I could never forget that curve.

Am I reading things wrong? It looks to me like flashing a stock car gains as much HP as flashing a car with a filtrer and cat-back??

hey if i am waiting for some mods would i need the mods on my car before reflashing? or would the reflash work fine to use before mods then just add mods (exhaust, intake,ic pipes)

Ideally, you want to do all your modifications and the reflash at the same time.

In many cases you can add say a cat back exhuast, test pipe or fmic pipe etc without any problems to a reflash tune. However, a major mod like a air intake which alters the maf calibration will require a remapping.

The Buschur Flash has a significantly reduced price for future update modifications.

e.g. The first Buschur flash purchase includes your Ecutek license fee and the Buschur Flash mapping. When you send in the ecu for an update tune you dont have to re-purchase the license (its a one time fee) and the udate tune is at a greatly reduced price when compared to the initial tune.

With all that said, the best advice is to plan out your first series of modifications - e.g. Intake and Exhuast and then install them and do the flash at the same time.

Of course, it is not always possible to have it all done at one time for various reasons. Please feel free to contact myself or David Buschur to discuss what you have planned and come up with a strategy to get it done.

t8kdown, if that is what you are seeing then it is probably true. The gains will be the same, the overall power is going to be higher with the car with the filter and catback though.

every car todate made more power when adding a CBE. you would gain even more on the car that had the tune then added the catback. you just didnt get to see what the car with only a tune would do if you add a catback later.

keep watching you will see more.
better flow always means more power. maybe not 15-25 HP and sometimes its not much peak. but thru the powerband it always makes more.

I figured having the filter and cat back would make more hp, but the sheets did not show that. Just wondering

I will be calling to get the flash tomorrow. I have a cone filter and Buschur CBE, so I was just wondering what kind of hp i was going to get out of the flash.

Can't wait, because this thing runs so rich it has already made the new exhaust tips BLACK around the rims (just put it on Friday)!!

I sent mine off to be flashed yesterday, I currently have the AGP intercooler ,hard pipes (upper & lower), cold air intake & Buschur CBE once I receive my reflashed PCU back I plan on strapping it on to the dyno & see what happens. I'll post my results once I have them, most likely it will be early next week.

Will the ECUTEK flash prevent me from using ECUFlash in the future?
