Likely that was a combo of a relatively high reading dyno and a strong running Evo X. Either way the gains are what's important, let us know what kind of trap speeds you run with the new found power!

Also a question for Sean, I ended up setting my redline to 7800 when I got the Ecutek tune, would 8000 be safe to run or is that about the max you would go? I've read the square engine can potentially rev higher than a 4G63 but there always seems to be a weak point somewhere, we just haven't found the limits of the 4B11. I'm assuming that with no knock and a solid tune that you can get away with the higher revs, let me know your thoughts.

We crept up on it and settled on 799x RPm as the rev limit. No ill effects so far.
The evo 10 on our dyno usually baseline in the 25x region. I have never seen one, and I have done quite a few now, dyno 270 stock, then again the car was cool so the 264 was a bit more realistic, on the high side of normal.

Chris PM me if you need more info.

It is faster, smoother and all around a better performing car because of Mr. Ivey's tune.
So what was your break in procedure?

40+ awhp gains on just a tune is no joke! Did the car have the latest factory reflash? If so that is even more impressive!

Congrats!

It's so funny how everyday someone says, "My X finally turned into an Evo!" What was it before??? A stock VIII wasn't real quick either.

Nice work Sean, it looks like you're the east coast premier tuner!

Hands down one of the best EVO tuners in the country. If anyone is even remotely close to NJ you have to see Sean.
