Talking Tuning Technologies tuned my EVO X MR!

Hey all,

Here are my results from my tuning session with Alfred @ Tuning Technologies today. I want to let everyone know that he and his staff were exceptional and highly professional. I had an amazing time hanging out at their location while Alfred was performing my tune. My tune was done on Cali's crappy 91 octane but i was very happy with the results considering it is an MR and I am guessing I lose about 22-25% power to the wheels.

Mods:

ETS Intake
ETS 3" FMIC
ETS UICP
ETS LICP
Buschur 3" Dual Catback Exhaust
UR 3" DP/o2 Housing
UR 3" HFC (Ceramic)

Results:

Hope you guys like the results and let me know what you think!

Again, great thanks to Alfred for the amazing tune!

Brandon

What were your baseline numbers prior to the mods on this dyno? What type of Dyno was used?

Great results on a 91 Octane tune.

Alfred is the man!

It is been 5 or 6 months now since alfred tuned my EVO X GSR and its still running strong on the ECUTEK flash.

My base line numbers before all the mods were 229whp/241tq. The dyno was a Dynojet.

The car feels amazing. The midrange is absolutely strong and seems like it lasts for ever. I am boosting 24 psi tapering down to 16-17psi at the end. I definitely think I am reaching the limits of the stock turbo, so I am guessing I would need to do Meth or a Turbo upgrade to get anything more.

I ve been peaking at 22-24 psi and then tapers down without boost controller and ECU tune . I onced peaked at 25.7 psi. My car has AEM air box, UR upper and lower ICP, downpipe, test pipe, HKS exhaust.
Does anyone know what is the highest boost on the MR?

I think your next mod should be an upgraded actuator which allows you to prevent boost taper, the top end will improve even more.

Not bad. A MR making around 370bhp if 20% driveline loss.
