What is the best setup in think situation? How hard are they to install?
ya, i like to have it infront me, so its easy to see. so i installed it on the steering column.

it pretty easy to install...but some reason mine is running at 10psi and not the usual 20.

+1 for EVC6, have had great luck with the HKS. almost no spike during temp. change. plus no risk of over boosting and doing damage.

So overall is the greddy PRofec B-Spec2 going to be best controller for under $500

TBC-1 by WORLD motorsports. Awsome boost controller that no one can afford.

So i just run either an Apex'i AVC-r or Blitz SBC-id depending on which ever I can get cheapest at that point in time.

I had a Greddy EBC, my favorite thing about EBCs is that they can correct themselves if they over boost. You can set it to reduce boost if it goes over a designated maximum. An MBC can't do that. This comes in handy when it gets cold out. You can get a used Greddy for like $250.

Does the EBC come with a special EVO X harness for an easy install or anything?

I wish, like HKS makes for their products. I have my AVCR sitting here with the RRE ecu pin out sheet. I'm a little freaked about splicing into the ECU wires. Live and learn.
