Hi Guys, I am going to send my tune for the mail in flash soon to be offered by Vishnu performance. I live in the Caribbean and I drive a JDM RHD Evo X. Unfortunately we have crappy 90 oct fuel here. The vishnu tune is calibrated for 91 oct.
The JDM's X's as you know are tuned for pretty high levels of octane as they offer 100 RON fuel at the pumps there which is probably 94-95 AKI so I need to have the car tuned for lower level octane anyway.
My question is?
Do i tell Vishnu that my octane is 90 as opposed to 91 and does 1 point in the AKI really make a big difference. I know once the tune is done for 90, that the performance will suffer and i may not get full potential from the sub zero flash being offered for 91 Oct.
When i spoke to them they said it may just mean pulling a couple degrees of timing?
