How well does a custom tune on the X work?? Look Inside!!

Well for those of you who do not view the drag race section i would like to pass some info on about how well a custom tune on the Evo X works.. With so many tuning options, piggy backs , etc its hard to decide for some people.. Well all I can share is my 1st hand experience with a Jestr Tune.. We were able to take a customer car Tuned By Jestr and Set the Evo X Stock turbo record even Higher.. The car on only its 2nd time to the track went 11.81 and 112.54 Traps also.. This is on a FULL WEIGHT EVO X with 93 Pump gas.. We have run many pump gas Evo 8 and 9's in the past and with the minimal mods on the X its very impressive..

Jestr Tuned
93 octane ~375whp
STOCK 02 Housing / Downpipe
NO METH or Water Injection
Buschur Cat Back w/o any Cutout or Dump
Buschur Intake
Buschur FMIC and Piping
Forge MBC
Stock Tires

Thanks for the Support.. The owner of the car is now much more excited to go even faster so we will see in the next few weeks if we can make our way down to the low 11's..

Why does everyone go with the catback exhaust and not the turboback?

i think because on the stock turbo not too much gain on the down pipe itself, not to mention amount the work you need to change it.
This was my reason.

thought it would be emissions. i swapped my OEM exhaust for a TBE in 30 mins...

and the DP would make a considerable difference (this is on a IX).

Thanks, Mike! I can't wait to see what happens with the next round of mods!

Thanks to AWD Motorsports and Buschur Racing for making my job the easy part.

So, you seem somewhat evasive in the mod list naming stuff it doesn't have.

My question is: What are all the mods?

From your post, I gather all the mods are: boost controller, tune, intake, fmic, ic piping, and catback. All done on pure 93 octane. Is that correct? Either way, I believe you and give you props since your traps are 112-113 its what others with similar mods have been doing, but you all have one hell of a driver it seems. Care to post the slip?
