OEM reflash or Cobb Stage 1 for fuel/oil problem

I'm trying to figure out what is the best course of action for my car. New GSR w/ 1100 mi. Feb. 08 build date. Purchased Dec 19. Broken in per factory manual. All stock. Got initial Mobil 1 change then 200-300 miles later the latest factory reflash this past Fri. Last night read the fuel dilution poll thread, checked oil and found I had a profound fuel odor on the dipstick. The car seemes to run fine, pulls to redline and doesn't idle too bad (not much change there). However, I hate the idea of the gas odor so I'm planning on having the dealer change the oil again tomorrow.

My dilemma is:

1. Hope that the oil was contaminated during the few miles it ran before the factory reflash and have the dealer (Tech seems eager to solve the issue) resolve the problem. Maybe there's more to it than just the factory tune?

2. Perform a Cobb Stage 1 flash and hope their leaner tune will solve the problem.
I understand the Cobb flash is undetectable so if the problem persists maybe I can revert to stock flash if I need more dealer assistance. I'm not planning any further modifications, only trying to have a leaner running engine.

It seems kind of early in the oil cycle to run an oil analysis so I don't know if that is necessary at this point. I'm mainly concerned about premature engine wear. This is pretty aggravating to even be concerned about on a brand new vehicle.
