Yes, it's a manifold pressure before the engine. Note that the stock MAP only reads up to 1.5 bar over OBD. So external MAP sensor is necessary.

I believe that it depends on the HU. In my Alpine you can do it: audio and video sources are selected independently. Please watch the video for illustration.

No one mentioned Evoscan yet. You are able to tune your ecu and datalog via obd port. Its a lot cheaper that the Magden, HKS, and Blitz unit. I think evo scan has a great product but they fall short not able to connector aux gauges. Hope fully they figure some thing out and connect external gauges via usb plug in.
Magden unit looks inticing but its alot of money for an obd II logger! I am not sure if its worth that much. Then you add up for the additional sensors and the video screen. Too much money IMO.

I have IVA-W502, which is like W505, but without navigation slot.
Well, regular gauges are not much cheaper, you still have to buy them, install sensors, fabricate pod, etc. And you won't be able to use OBD-II data.
EvoScan is fine, but again, you need a carputer to be able to display the gauges all the time if you use only software. Or you have to mount their screen on your dash, which is not too sexy, there other solutions like this - Zt-2+Dashdaq, for example. And they don't properly support Evo X yet (which I hope will happen soon).
I don't consider EvoScan to be an alternative to any type of gauges - software or conventional, it's a supplement for when you are tuning and logging on a dyno.

looking into the aux-video aswell but I don't think that they have come up with

But what's wrong with getting it from Magden? They are not too efficient with international shipping, but if you are in US it shouldn't be a problem.
It will work on the stock navi, however, the AUX input is blocked when you are in motion. You'll have to crack it somehow to make it work. This applies to Capm 2 and Blitz too.
What pictures do you need to see?
I will write a more detailed review a bit later when I have fully tested this device.
I own a Kenwood DNX8120 which uses the parking brake switch to disable video. If I had another video display mounted in the cab, I could set up dual zones to display the video guages on it but why bother especially as the rear speakers would be mute unless there was audio as well as video. I could also bypass this by connecting this signal to ground but as I would like to listen to music while my video guages are displayed, what I would rather do is utilize the rear camera video input using a video selector circuit. This circuit would allow me to select a default video input to display when no alerts are present (note: one of the buttons held down 2 seconds will display the video input w/o being in reverse). If there happended to be a video guage alert that would be set when various limits are exceeded then a simple pioritizing circuit could be put together to determine which video input would be selected. If there were a RADAR Detector which had a video output it could also be incorporated this way. If there happened to be an audio output as well as video then another speaker could be used.
