z chip problem

z chip problem

ok when we installed it it ran good and then the ACS turns off and the car says required service??? anyone else have this problem?

never said any codes just said service engine soon

You have to hook up to the car with a code reader to get the codes. Discount auto parts or autozone should be able to read them for you for free. Several people had this issue with their zchips but I'm not sure if anyone ever got it resolved. I'm sure someone will chime in.

1235 is overboost. Hmmm thats weird, someone said the zchip eliminated that code... Do you have a manual boost controller?

If the tach wire is connected correctly, there should be no issue. Most common circumstance is a customer improper tap of the tach wire.
