I don't know how it is shameful, if anything it is HELPful. But to each his own.

found it on another forum..looks pretty cool. though pricy, you can purchase the adapter, sensor and harness and it'll also read boost, oil pressure, egt, etc.

Guess I shouldnt take it down off my photobucket any time soon At times I think about just posting this pic in any threads that relate before the question is even asked. I asked a mod to put it in a sticky, but that never happened.

Thanks!

I like it a lot. It was a bit of work, but well worth the time.

I did it myself, it was my "weekend project" some time ago. I just used a Metra dash kit (I would use Scosche (sp?) if I did it again), put some gauge pods in and plastic welded (with an old soldering iron) everything together. A bit of bondo/filler and then on to paint!

I angled the pods towards the driver, but it could use a little more. However, the positioning is perfect, since I can still see the boost gauge even with the screen up.

I agree, but it wouldn't work with the oem stereo.

What pods are everyone using for their custom fiberglass and bondo setups? I'm thinking about tackling something like this myself. Weighing my options.
