Question open port2.0 w/ evoscan

I just recently received my open port 2.0 cable. I've been able to use it flawlessly with ecuflash to read my ecu and to upload one of gunzo's maps.

For some reason I can't get evoscan to work. I get the message " Open port usb cable not responding".

Do I need to change settings around in evoscan for it to work? I've spent more than five hours trying everything I know, and cant get it to connect to my ECU.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I received my cable tonight and have version 2.16 and it logs everything okay, but whenever I try to use the DTC I get the error.

Ok I tried using a different laptop. Same issue.
I'm beginning to think its a problem with the cable even though it work with ecuflash I get the same message using evoscan. " OP2 Cable not responding"

what kind of cable did you get? Where did you get the drivers from? It sounds like both evoscan and the cable work fine, but evoscan doesn't support the particular cable you have.

I had some Openport2.0 issues that seemed to have gone away after installing EvoScan b15. Does EcuFlash and EvoScan b15 both have their own version of OpenPort 2.0 drivers or dll's that they share? So far b15 has been more stable and I haven't had a lockup yet while logging.

Before I would have to remove the USB cable and see if it would recognize the OP2 in the device manager, sometimes I would have to even do reboot to get it talking again. Re-installing EcuFlash or removing OP2 from the device manager seemed to help get it working again for me.
