I just got my '08 Evo MR last week and it seems like the first thing I should do is get a good tune on it. I'm in Flushing (Queens) NY and was wondering if any locals know of a good place to go. I've heard of DG Motors, Ivey Tune, and Mellon Tuning (but they require extra equipment right?) Or is there a good dealer I should just go to for the most recent ECU update? Any suggestions would really help, thanks!

 

the dealer update will be no where near what a good tuner can do. I went with Mellon and i'm very happy with my choice. There is some equipment needed, but if you have a laptop, it doesn't cost much.. just a matter of learning how to use the software.

 

Mellon also does loaner gear - just need a laptop and your good to go!
