on stock boost control.. yea again! :-(
quick question and reference
i need you guys to freshen up my mind because is been a while since I've toyed w/ the program in this particular area
long story short:
i had a AEM boost controller which cost me an engine (more on that later)
i have the new engine in no problems i switch back to the factory boost control....
i know there a lot of threads here about it so please correct my little knowledge as good as possible and if useful keep the thread alive so we all learn if you want
@Ecuflash
Boost control Load Offset + boost target engine load = 'desired target engine load'
so if i offset, say to 40 and at 6000/ 80.8% i have 118 i should see 158 engine load... am i thinking straight?
(i know stock BCLO is 80 example just for number/reference)
*****
reactive seleniod base WGDC (primary) and passive (secondary) work side o side on correction, so:
when the reactive table gets tuned passive "should" be at the same ratio as the other? so if i put 100% duty @ 6500rpm at the reactive; pasive should be 100% too at the same spot IN SO FAR the actuator tension is set to 11psi (stock)? (my actual actuator has a higher tension rate so if im right this ratios should be much different, maybe in the 75~80% ratios)
Correction Interval? is set on units, what 'real units', seconds, ms? the lower the better?
Reactive Max Upward WGDC correction vs TPS... it adds to the primary WGDC to the amount added in relation to TPS (helps hold peak boost?)
sounds noobish but hey..forgive my ignorance; throw me a bone here.....

Hey man check this thread out might help you out.
Well won't let me paste URL soo its Evoxforums under tuning and ecuflash/openECU BigT wrote the thread.
