GM solenoid question

GM solenoid question

If you swap the solenoids out STOCK vs GM boost solenoid, do you have to retune for that or is it a straight drop in affair. Thanks for the help sorry if this has already been answered somewhere else.

yes, it has to be retuned! The are no longer any restrictor pills and you will overboost untuned.

more than just the overboost, you only use one table to control the boost and the changes are finer.

yes retune DEFINITLEY required.. otherwise you WILL blow your engine!

RETUNE!!! you have to reduce the duty cycle on the boost control solenoid tables. default it is 100, start at 50 with a 3 port.
