ECUFLash + Fastkey

** FIXED *** I have no clue how it fixed itself. I went out to my car for the 3rd time and my FASTKEY started working again.............

Hi guys,

I recently flashed the Gunzo Generic Map for my MR.

I lost my fastkey capability. After reading the user manual Canadian users cannot reprogram the fast keys themselves.

What can I do now? Do I have to goto the stealership everytime I want to flash the car?

*totally puzzled*

Just to note, The unlock and lock buttons work. It just doesn't recognize it as a Fastkey to start the car.

Did you have the OP2 cable connected or your laptop on when you tried to start the car? Sometimes other electronics (and cell phones even) will interfere with the fast key. I usually end up putting my keys somewhere away from me (like the cupholder) and away from wires if there is any interference going on. Ecuflash itself cannot mess up the fast key in any way. Glad it's working for you now, but if it happens again, try moving your key somewhere else.
