I think I'm having a problem with step 8 of the illustrated mode23 how to listed here. When I click on edit and then set data. I don't get the small window that says enter value or expression. I'm not sure what the issue might be. I tried on my netbook and desktop. The window just doesn't come up. Will this cause mode23 not to be enabled?

 

I chimed in on the other thread, but I'll say it here again.

When you open the table by clicking the box beside the name, does the value come up? If it does, click on the value itself and push the "=" key. You should then be able to change the value to the desired hex (0xwhatever).

If it still isn't letting you adjust it, let us know.

 

same case here, a little box pops up but when i right click and hit = nothing happens.

Can you edit any other tables? Are you actually CLICKING what you want to change? I don't mean just opening the table, I mean click the value that you want to alter and then hit = .

 

other tables yes but not the mode 23 table, it pops out after clicking but nothing happens
