So i just installed my DW1000's and i'm now running e85. im getting pretty close to dialing in my injectors, i'm at +- 2 for my LTFT but whenever my car is just idling it starts to hiccup! it feels like when you turn on your ac or when the fans kick in. but i know it's neither of those. at first it does it every 7 seconds and then it gets more frequent until its pretty much every 2 seconds. My rmps drop a bit and then my AFR's go lean for a sec and then rich, then stabilize and then the process starts all over again... other than that, i'm idling between 14.7-15.4 during cruise and idle (when it doesn't hiccup).

any ideas as to why this is happening? i've tried increasing the idle to about 950 rpms. could it be that the ecu just needs to adjust itself to e85 and its learning the new fuel? Thanks guys!

 

What are your fuel trims doing when it hiccups?

UPDATE: So apparently it didn't decide to do it this morning. When i got to school i sat in the parking lot and it didn't seem to hiccup at all. I'm wondering if it only does it after freeway cruise for some reason. It did it yesterday while i was trying to scale my injectors properly.

Anybody have any input on this?!
