Need ECU for my evo x gt35r

I got some problems after i tuned my evo x with the gt35r turbo kit using the stock ecu by reflashing, these problems where having a problem with the rev limitier it goes up and down after i push the boost up and also i got my o2 and map sensors dead so i changed them and they cost me $700 with labor and also the tuner couldn't raise the boost limitier in the stock ecu so i think i want to get an ecu for my evo x and throw the stock ecu in the trash .....am thinking to get motec m800 or cossworth...
SOO what do u think guys is the best now in the market.

the stock ecu will work fine for you if dialed in properly

x3 your tuner sounds like a ****ing idiot... no need to switch to a stand-alone on a street car. None at all, our stock ECU's kick *** pretty much.

It's definately a tuner issue not the ECU. EcuFlash can tune boost completely specifically there is a whole thread dedicated to killing the overboost and o2 sensor codes that would hinder you running 29+psi. IF you are on stock valvetrain I wouldn't be pushing it much above 7500 if at all on the 35r unless you want a broken rod bolt to destroy your block...

If you got a "dead" o2 sensor code but were getting the p1235 code and the o2 code it's probably not actually dead, it triggers the o2 code sometimes with the overboost code. I know this from experience.

A few questions for you, How many psi are you trying to run? What are you trying to rev it out to? Stock block? Are you using a boost controller on top of trying to control boost via the ecu? You can control boost by adjusting wastegate duty cycle fyi so if they can't even get that far....you've got way bigger problems.

Do you have the GG X that Tommy built? Who tuned it? PM me if you'd rather not make it public.

Good luck.

We have pushed the Evo X stock ecu over 700hp...we have pushed the stock ecu on the evo x's past 600hp on pump gas...It is most likely a tuner issue. If you would like, send me a p.m and we can go over a few important details..

everything was ok after we tuned the car in the 1st time and we got 500whp at 24psi of boost and the car was going crazzy but after 1 week i start getting problems like when i push the gas and it hits the rev limiter it starts reving after i stop it.

The tuner is Harvey ,boost creep ltd. he used to work in boulder in subaru repair but he has his own now, i think he is the best in colorado that wat evrbdy says.

The mods in the car is...
gt35r
44mm tail
custom manifold
custom downpipe
hallman manual boost cntrl
1000cc dc injectors
walbro 255 in tank
ultimate racing fuel pump kit
ams fuel rail
kakimoto exhaust single tip
hks ssqv blow offvalve
ams intrclr
stock block

I've seen way over 29 psi output from EvoScan... and the size of the turbo obviously doesn't matter for reading manifold pressure, not sure how that was relevant.

Do you mean outflowing the MAF?

The stock MAP is a 3-bar sensor (44.1 psi) so when you subtract out barometric pressure (44.1 - 14.7 = 29.4 psi) you're left with room for another ~29psi before the sensor is maxed out.

However the barometric in Denver is ~12.5 psi so the OP should have room for ~31 psi of boost.
