We'd love to figure out how to do a hard reset on this thing, but so far I can't find the thread about doing it.
Fyi tactrix will unbrick ecu's for $75 if you end up getting desperate.

Dont know if this would help but while flashing my friends Evo X, i totally forgot the car was turned off but was running on the timer that was set to 90 seconds. Half way thru the flash, the car went GOOD BYE on me!! I turned the car back on and it was stuck half way.. the fan kept running and all the other lights were on. I just loaded the same map again and it went through...

I say try puttin the same map again to the car. Even tho its wrong and then without starting it, just flash it with the right one again!

Best of Luck!

Best of Luck!

we tried doing this already!
we can neither read or write to the ECU!
I have tried flashing multiple maps all with no luck.
If there is anyone else that can offer any advise that would be great, if no luck by wed or thurs this week I will take it to the stealership and see if they can flash it back to stock for me (if their hardware/software will allow it to overwrite the lockout)
if this doesn't work I guess I will have to send it to tactrix

you can try doing the "alternate flash" thingy...

but you will probably have to bench the ECU to do it.

otherwise send it to colby and pay the $75

sorry i can't help more
