K&N still runs the oiled filter. That's no bueno for our MAF sensors. You maybe should have gone with the AEM dryflow filter. They're owned by K&N anyway.

I'd love to have this, but I also want the AP adjusted for it as well.

orly? That's sick. I refuse to run an oiled filter. I'll have to consider this now. Especially if it's supported by the AP.

I recommend this kit to anyone, you wont be disappointed.

Why? The design of this is the best compromise between an airbox and a full open element.

i have k&n drop in filter and UICP.
the stock intake box is very good IMO, keeps cold air inside.
i did a lot of research for intake on our cars, they are quite useless after tune if not tune it makes the car running lean. a lot of 405whp evox still running stock intake box. so if you do more research on it, intake mostly for looks on our car, not really help you a lot. the UICP is good mod tho.

How does the UICP help? I got one on my tuners recommendation and it looks cool but it has a hose reducer that necks down right at the stock turbo housing so I fail to see the advantage, in fact the stock UICP looks to provide less turbulence therefore more flow.

Drop in air filter leans the car out too. That's why not tuning for any part isn't really a bad idea. And this is probably a better design then most of the open filter intakes. Plus the sound is awesome!

Well can you tell everyone what part# this is? Because this part# 69-6546 says that the replacement filter is RF-1047, which is an oiled filter.

Instructions.... http://www.knfilters.com/instructions/69-6546_inst.pdf

Replacement filter according to those instructions... http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RF-1047

If they came out with another one or X specific please clarify that for everyone
