Sounds to me like that's a replacement for the 1.3 cable (not Evo X compatible), but without the reflash dongle making it worthless for the 8/9 guys too.

Yeah, it is made to scan and read from the 8/9 ECU, but it can't even reflash our ECUs without the Mitsu specific reflash connector.

Aside from the fact that site is super annoying and they are ripping off what pays for the development on openecu.....

IF you were able to use it with an ecuflash version after 1.29 you could just supply 12v to the correct pin on the reflash connector to make it work on the 8/9, however you might be stuck using old ECUFlash.

The reflash connector from tactrix is only $11. Doesnt that still come out cheaper for us 8/9 guys?

Tactrix has helped this community SO MUCH, don't get some rip-off cable. Get the latest and greatest and offer to pay extra for it--we have what other platforms can only dream of having: an open-source tuning platform that is constantly getting better and better and better and better.

Colby@tactrix, mrfred, tephra, and others have done amazing things for us--throw your money at them!

Agreed with above, but also... I don't think theres any provisions to plug it in to that cable as far as I can see.... aside from all of the other moral / incompatibility issues.
