Absolute amateur looking for some tuning tips

Hi,
Firstly I would just like to say that Im a complete amateur and have no previous expertise with tuning a car. The Evo X is also the first turbo car that I have owned so pls bear with me and my stupid questions.

I have a 2010 Evo X SST and have been looking to add a few stuffs to the car. So far I'm certain about 2 things that I want to get. First is the HKS Hi-Power exhaust and second the Cobb AP. I have been reading a lot in this site and from what I understand getting a tune to a stock Evo X is very important. Now it saddens me to say that there is not a single place in Dhaka from where I can get a tune. We dont have any shops or even any person who professionalizes in tuning cars. Therefore whatever I want I have to do it myself maybe with the help of a few friends who owns a Evo.

I would firstly like to let you know that Im not looking for crazy gain in power. A gain of 30-50 bhp will be more than enough to satisfy me. Now since a lot of you here are experts I would just like to ask if getting the Cobb AP is a good decision for me and if I can tune it myself. Im not looking to download maps and getting into the complicated stuffs. Just a few set flashes like fuel econ mode and flash back to stock mode and all is enough for me. Please also keep in mind that I dont want anything to happen to the car as the mechanics available here arent the best at fixing things so I might have to be stuck with a problem for eternity. So what do you guys think ? Is a Cobb AP good option for me or should I just buy the HKS Hi-Power and not bother with a tune since it might get complicated for an amateur like me ?

Thanks in advance.

If you're going to be tuning the car yourself, I highly recommend getting a Tactrix + ECUFlash instead of a Cobb AP. The support of the community is big in this area, and will offer plenty of help / guidance.

This is a good place to start:
