Am I Running Rich?

So I hooked up a standard (narrow-band?) Air/Fuel gauge. Its brand new from Autometer so I dont think its busted lol but I tapped pin#38 on ECU (Front O2 Sensor Signal) as per the diagram from RRE. It works just fine but my readings seem off.

My question is, am I running rich? I have an AP intake, HKS SSV, AP BOV tube and CNT Catback. Nothing else. I read that these cars run rich from the factory but this seems a bit much.

On a cold startup the gauge reads in the red (lean) only for a moment then shoots to rich and stays there pretty much till the car warms up:

At idle it jumps. Lowest it goes it middle of Stoich. Every other car i've seen with a standard AF gauge sits in the red at idle:

While driving (forgive the poor quality, I did this alone lol) It bounces back and forth as it should, but not enough. It is still almost always in green, even at 1% throttle. Only time it stays steady yellow is when I let off completely:

Can anyone address this so I know whats up? I'm supposed to be getting a COBB AP soon too. Whats the best solution to keep the car running safe but still get goood power? I dont want a high horsepower beast, so please dont tell me a million things to do

hate to say it but you wasted your money buying a narowband gauge. Buy a real wideband and stop wondering.

Narrow band is only designed to tell the ecu if you air fuel ration is richer or leaner than stoich (14.7:1) so that it can either add or subtact fuel when running in closed loop mode.

Well, no one can answer you because
1) That gauge really tells us nothing and
2) the conditions that you specify are not great for assessing AFR when things are out of line (idle, startup)

Furthermore, I believe the Evo X uses a +1v reference voltage... so that gauge is probably never going to show anything less than 1v (which on most cars is stoich).

Its not a deal if you got nothing for your money . I hope you like dancing lights.
