What to ask, what to expect?

I’m getting my first major MOD’s done this week to my ’11 EVO MR (5700 miles) and want to know what kind of questions I should ask about the work and performance gains I may achieve.

AME Widemouth down pipe
Mil.spec 100 cell HFC
ETS V2 Quiet CAT back
AMS intake

thats going to b a long day. Are you going to attempt to install any of those before you show up to the shop to save time? The intake, HFC, and catback are not difficult at all. The downpipe is going to take the longest.

The down pipe will be the big labor hog. Dropping off early Friday and have half day Saturday as a cushion.

I would suggest holding on to all your oem parts being replaced. Sell them later if you want or need to but it nice security having the oem parts just in case.

I'm not sure how your smog laws are in VA but I would also ask how this will impact your smog test/inspection. Will it pass visually? Sniffer?

With such low miles on your car there's not much to do...check your oil, plugs, air filter, fluids and make sure everything looks good under the hood...

GL & report back and let us know how the parts and tune worked out for you!
