Could use some help!

Hey guys im new to this forum and the tuning world in general. I have a 2008 lancer evo X GSR and have been having some problem. About 2 weeks I went to start my car and noticed when the engine warmed up the engine was reving up to about a grand and dropping down below 5 in neutral. I didnt think much of it untill the next day it poped the check engine light. I took it to autozone to see what code it was and it was my car was to lean. Here is where i can use some advice where should my first point of attack be? I am thinking it could be a vacum leak but how is the best way to find it? Any help would be great.

Check the hose to the fuel-pressure regulator. They pop off if not zip-tied.
